I get allot of questions on how I do my recordings and what do I use for software. So this is it I do all of my recording on my PC with a sound blaster with a MIC input is all that is needed on the computer I also use the line input for my keyboards. Any good quality MIC will work I do not clip mine on the flute but I place the flutes sound hole next to the MIC remember the sound is not coming out at the end of the flute but at the sound hole at the block.
Software I use is GoldWave, WavePad and Acid pro. Gold wave being the best for single track and filtering and adding the echo. WavePad is just a nice quick editor and is free. Acid pro is a multi track editor that I use when adding the thunder, drums, wolf, etc to a track. I do my finale work in this package.
